If you look at Group A, Sri Lanka will play two matches against Netherlands and Ireland, which could give Sri Lanka a slight advantage but they’ve to work hard for it. Our prediction says that Sri Lanka and the Netherlands should be able to make it out of this group. In Group B of Round 1, Scotland and Bangladesh could have smooth sailing for the qualifying round. Our prediction for the four semi-finalists for the T20 World Cup 2021 are:
- West Indies
All said, we would put our bets on team England to lift the ICC T20 World Cup trophy. Here’s why:
When it comes to team planning, team England comes with the least number of weaknesses and they are unlikely to face any lags. England captain Eoin Morgan is a smart strategist and the team has a promising history of playing high-pressure matches.
England holds the title of’ 50 Over World Cup Champion’ and we think the team is headstrong enough to win the T20 World Cup trophy. It is safe to bet on England to emerge victorious in the T20 World Cup 2021.
However, team India is the next contender to win the T20 World Cup if their strategy outdoes team England’s performance. Of course, all eyes are on Captain Virat Kohli to lead the team for the final time.
